在一個靜得讓人發瘋的平安夜裡，他點起了煙，讓煙圈在不安的思緒中打轉。
昏暗的燈光和煙火交相輝映；他深呼吸一口，讓那根燃點了的煙盡情在身體內肆虐，任由濕濕的空氣遺留下一抹迷惘的雲煙，在屋裡繚繞上升。
趁煙未熄之際，他閉上眼，用熟練的手法再次點起了煙，有什麼轉進了他的腦袋。
是沉默的控訴。
是混亂的秩序。
是無數次記不清的邂逅。
他告訴自己，用一支煙的時間，稍微逃避一下這過度真實的世界。
煙滅了，惡念卻絲毫沒有減退。

【最動盪一刻給香港寫的情詩】
〈 Down By The River 〉寫於 2014 年 9 月下旬，當時覺得很多事都很絕望，很想寫一首詩去獻給香港 —— 最後演變成一首歌，是我們少有『 先詞後曲 』的作品。」歌曲有著英倫搖滾的元素。「 感覺就像是情歌對吧？〈 Down By The River 〉表意鼓舞聽眾，寓意是振作自己，是很『 自我 』的一件事。至於為什麼會和水、河流有關係… 其實是一種借喻，我們對於香港的第一印象， 就是水、漁港、維多利亞港，因此有種美好的幻想（ Fantasy ），希望香港有一天能成為水上的烏托邦。」
Lyric video 背景是鰂魚涌海山樓，一個很有港味的地方。「 附近便是太古坊，即從前的糖廠。」單曲的封面設計有樂隊四位成員的肖像，「 我們以雙重曝光（ Double Exposure ）的方法和城市夜景重疊，是參考了John Lennon 的專輯《 Imagine 》封面的設計。」
